“Thinking About You” is the first brand-new original song by Beck to be released following the release of his critically and commercially acclaimed, GRAMMY-winning Hyperspace album. “Thinking About You” features Beck’s dreamy vocal and acoustic guitar tones accompanied by Blake Mills (guitar, mandolin), Justin Meldal Johnsen (bass), and Roger Manning. It is a heartbreaking ballad in the vein of classics Morning Phase and Sea Change and was incidentally recorded in the same room as the latter (keyboards).
“Thinking About You” debuts just before Beck begins a busy touring schedule. His upcoming live schedule for 2023 kicks off with three solo acoustic shows in Australia. Then he performs at Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and the High Water Festival in North Charleston, South Carolina. His eagerly awaited North American co-headlining tour with Phoenix completes the schedule.
